Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
He's saying that the boo boys don't affect him at all but it's upsetting his Dad.

It's not like he picks the team at the end of the day is it?

I'm guilty as most on here slagging him off but remember he came to us when he were in the shit and galvanised the squad at that time.

Agree he shouldn't start games when full squad fit as his legs have gone, maybe we should lay off him a bit?

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Booing at games is a bit divvy, so surprisingly it isnt something I would do but how else do people paying a lot of money vent their frustrations.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
I agree Allardyce should never be playing him.

As for his son, his legs have clearly gone.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Thought he'd improved for an hour today, no where near as bad as midweek, I realise that is damning with faint praise.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Nowadays he should be on the bench.

But for fuck sake lay off him, he did OK for us early days now we have better, is no excuse to vilify the bloke.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Don't know why people do abuse him, it's not his fault he's being picked when he should be on the bench, if he's asked to play then he will go out and do his best, sadly his best isn't enough for us. Blame the manager

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
He is only getting stick because he reduces us to 10 men. This is his dads fault so really this rests with Sam to rectify. I agree it is not good to slag off your own club captain but the club is suffering on the pitch isn't it? Sam and Nolan could have more respect if the right thing was done. The right thing being Nolan on the bench and Sam departing quietly at the end of the season.

its pretty pathetic to go after your own players.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Agreed. But worse to be paid millions and not pick your best 11.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Has he been booed recently then?

He got stick on here the other night but that's cos he put in one of the worst performances I've seen in a long time. Nearly cost us a goal three or four times from not being able to do the basics. But I doubt he logs onto WHO that often.

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
He's not a premiership player anymore. If I was choosing the team he wouldn't get anywhere near the bench.

Possibly a bit harsh Justin but u get my view on him!

Re: Time to lay off Kevin Nolan?
Is it possible that BFS doesn't like him and keeps making him play 90 mins as a punishment?
After all, its BFS who picks the team, not Nolan.
I still think he's way off the pace BTW.

We've had plenty of worse players.

Unfortunately for Kevin, they played in worse teams, and didn't stand out so much
